my weekend 2/27-2/28

Today I thought I would share with you what I did this weekend! So on Saturday, there was a Freshman- Social Formal dance. It was pretty casual but I loved dressing up! I got my dress from Forever 21- it was such a good find ( and cheap!). I swear you can find the best party/dance dresses from Forever 21. Definitely check them out for your next school dance! I did have a date, and since my dress was white, I just got a pink boutonniere and he got me a bouquet of pink flowers. Now for the pics from Saturday!
I had so much fun!
Today my parents and I went to brunch at one of our favortie spots. It was so good:) Here are some pics of the glorious brunch.
Now it's time for me to get back to studying for a dreaded history test and try to cope with having school tomorrow. BYe for now!

My love for Glossier!

helllo! I'm sure you have all heard about Glossier. I recently discovered the amazing brand and I have to share! I personally own the Balm Dotcom and the Boy Brow. The balm dot com LITERALLY comes with me everywhere in my bag. It is seriously moisturizing-especially for this freezing winter were having! Glossier also offers a Coconut Balm Dotcom which must smell amazing. I also love the boy brow because it's great for on the go mornings and simply days when you just don't feel like putting in effort into your brows. It comes in 3 different shades, is super pigmented, and great for lightly filling in your brows. On my wish list from Glossier is the Milky Jelly Cleanser and the Priming Moisturizer. They both look extremely nice. If you guys are interested in Glossier, you can get 20% off your first purchase with this link! Hope you treat yourself with some lovely products! :)

My Everyday Makeup

Hello again! Today I have a beauty related post revolving around my everyday makeup! I honestly do not wear makeup every single day but when i do, it usually looks similar to this look. This look goes with pretty much any lip color so, I love to play with different shades!

products i used

Before applying any makeup, make sure to moisturize! Moisturizing before makeup actually prevents excess oil surfacing on your face. Also, priming is necessary if you want your foundation to last longer and look smoother. I have been using the  Smashbox photo finish primer for over a year so that obviously means that I love it! In this photo below, my face is cleansed, moisturized, and primed.

After primer I apply my foundation. On most days I use  this powder foundation just because it's quick and easy but if I want more coverage, I use  this liquid foundation which I have been loving! It seriously keeps you looking matte all day, especially during the long school day. After foundation, I apply  my favorite under eye concealer. When I want to cover up any red marks or spots I love using  this concealer.

after blending all the foundation and concealer

To set my face, I use  this powder. Then I apply this  Nars blush in 'torrid' to the apples of my cheeks and  Too Faced bronzer to the hollows of my cheekbones to add color to my face. On my cheekbones I apply  highlighter to add some glow.

That glowww!! Moving on to  brows...I don't have that good of brows so I like to just fill in sparse spots and add more of an arch. Then I brush them out to blend the product with the brows.

Now I apply eyeshadow from my all time fave palette, the  Too Faced Natural Eyes. On the lid I put the shade 'push up' all over. To add definition to eyes, I put the shade 'nude' in the crease. I always do this combo because it's so simple and easy yet so pretty! To finish off the eyes I obviously apply mascara. I have been using these two products for mascara ever since the products came out! This  eyelash primer and  mascara work together so nicely to lengthen my lashes and make them look so effortless.

For the final touch I add lipstick!! In this look and many times I use  this one but on days when I want a simpler lip I ALWAYS use this  tinted lip balm. I love it!!

Now here are some pics of the finished look!

Thanks so much for reading this post! Let me know what you think and I would love to know what you guys would like to see next. As always my social media is linked on here so give me a follow if ya want ( my vsco username is in the contact page)! Bye babes!
